Heather Bailey is one of Woodlot Artisans founders. She has carved for more than 13 years and is always up to a challenge. Some of her favorite carvings have been custom orders. She is very well known for her sculpted dog and horse portraits. 

Heather has been around chainsaw carving since she was 8 years old when her mother Grace Dowling decided to give it a try. It wasn't until Heather was 20 years old and offered an apprenticeship with one of the nations best chainsaw carvers that she decided to give it an honest effort. It turns out she was made for the thrill, hard work and dedication that it takes to become a chainsaw carving woman.
